Monthly email December 2022
We are approaching the end of a year that is, to say the least, troubled from a global perspective, and with that comes our last monthly email for 2022. For us, the year has been relatively stable, but of course we follow the turn of events closely and hope that next year will be a better and brighter year for everyone!
Here is the average return on lent capital after credit losses and fees, from December 2021 to November 2022:
8,12 %
The return figures are continuously updated in our monthly emails.
In this monthly email, we’ll tell you a bit more about the following:
- Our CFO and CFO interviewed by Erik Penser Bank about the third quarter
- The investment rate and return on the platform
- The EUR bonus is paid out
- New features and improvements
Our CEO and CFO interviewed by Erik Penser Bank about the third quarter
On November 16, our report for the third quarter was released. In connection to this, our CEO Ludwig and our CFO Jonas were interviewed by Erik Penser Bank. Feel free to listen to the interview (in Swedish) here to get a summary of the third quarter's development, as well as how they see the development going forward. You can find the quarterly report itself here!
The investment rate and return on the platform
Recently, we have seen an increased interest in saving with us at SaveLend. What we are told is that many new savers are looking for a stable cash flow that is not related to the volatile swings of the stock market. The increased inflow of capital has caused the investment rate to fall somewhat, and we would therefore like to remind you that our goal is to be above 95% on average. At the end of the month, we have the most repayments in both capital and interest, and therefore it is during that period that the investment rate should be at its lowest.
In order not to have to turn down good credit, we need to ensure constant access to lendable capital. That's why our investment rate is never 100%
We would also like to point out that the migration of Fixura and shortly also of SKF provides more opportunities than ever for diversification. This means that some savers have chosen to bet on lower returns with associated risk, which will affect returns at platform level in the future.
The EUR bonus is paid out
In the month of October we had a 1% deposit bonus for all EUR deposits. This is to celebrate a billion SEK on the savings platform, which we achieved in September. The bonus has now been paid out and with that we would like to thank everyone who participated. Should you have any questions about EUR deposits, you are, as always, warmly welcome to contact our customer support!
New features and improvements
- As usual, work continues on new features and improvements to our savings platform and this month we have several things we want to highlight:
- We've updated the look of our bonus levels - no changes to the levels themselves.
Now it is also possible for our EUR investors to invite friends via our "Invite-a-friend” bonus link - For some time now, you have been able to answer a survey when you log into your account. This is because your opinion is important to us! The survey remains until the end of the year and we are very grateful for all the answers we receive!
